Prologue

Forbidden Love

It was a cold, brim night, just like all the other nights. The dense mist, grey like a snow blanket as it swept over the grim forest. The stars shone and glimmered in the sky, as the silver moon beamed like a bright light. The sound of woodland creatures rustling and scraping against the twig grounds. Howling, hooting and high-pitched noises echoed inbetween trees and downward the vast woods. These nights were always the same, ever since you met him.

Your angel.

Ever since you had seen him, you had fallen in bitter love with him. You just couldn't stop thinking about him, no matter what you did. He always soared across the dark forest like a great eagle, always when it was dark where no one could see him. He always hid is wings from humans, so they couldn't catch him. You remember meeting him that one night as a child, and that night you could never forget.
